In todays video were going to do a simple oil change on my 2014 Wrx hatchback.

We use an Rotella T6 5-40 and a K&N oil filter(I would recommend using an OEM one from Subaru if time allows).
Using a 12MM and 17MM socked along with a flat head driver were able to drop the splash gaurd.
Using a 17MM socked we remove the drain plug to drain the oil.
We use an oil wrench to change the filter and the fill the car back up and check it on level ground.
