Cadillac has really upped their game across the entire lineup. This is the 2017 Cadillac XT5, and we have five reasons Cadillac's newest midsize luxury crossover is here to stay.
Smart Engine
The XT5 isn't brutally fast, but it does pack a punch. With 310 horsepower, the smart 3.6-liter V6 has a stop/start feature that helps save on gas. It also uses only four of its six cylinders when needed. Now that's smart efficiency.
Intelligent Technology
Like all Cadillacs, the XT5 features cutting-edge technology. The 8-inch touchscreen connects you to the Cadillac User Experience interface, which is now much easier to use than previous versions. The current interface even has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so connecting to your smartphone is easy.
Charming Style
With an attractive modern look, the XT5 still stays true to the Cadillac brand. Standard LED daytime running lights and 18-inch wheels give the crossover a bold look, and its design is sharp from every angle. Put simply, the XT5 is a head-turner.
Features
This is GM's finest, so you can expect an array of features and options. A standard Bose sound system and rear parking sensors kick things off. The additions go on from there, including a panoramic sunroof and the Driver Assist Package's automatic parking and adaptive cruise control. There's a lot to list, but that's what you expect from a Cadillac.
Versatility
Most wouldn't expect a luxury vehicle to be this versatile, but the XT5 doesn't just look good -- it can get stuff done, too. This crossover has a 40/20/40-split second row that slides forward and backward; the seats also recline. Folding it all flat gives you a roomy 63 cu ft. worth of cargo space, and the power rear lift gate with memory height makes loading simple.
