Happy New Years 2020! Every few months I check the Humminbird website to see if there have been any new firmware releases for my Humminbird fish finders. Updated firmware can do many things. It can add new features to your unit, fix annoying bugs and problems with the software, and improve the overall operation of your unit.



The fish finder in this video is a Humminbird Helix 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2, but the method shown is applicable to most modern Humminbird units.
