Hazel Brugger was born as a daughter of a German mother and Swiss neuropsychologist Peter Brugger in San Diego, USA. [1] That is why, besides the Swiss, she also has US citizenship. After graduating from the canton school of Zurich, she studied philosophy and literature at the University of Zurich (graduation). At the age of 17 she began her career on a Poetry-Slam stage in Winterthur.
