Everyone has an opinion on buying property in WA, but take a look at the numbers before YOU make YOUR decision.

The latest Real Institute release of WA figures shows the median Perth house price is $540,000, and the medium apartment price is $400,125.

This makes Perth the most affordable capital city in Australia, particularly for east coast investors.

As the Institute likes to point out, for the price of ONE house in Sydney ($1.2 million), you can own THREE apartments in Perth.

The Institute’s latest regional vacancy rate figures from November last year show that in the boom centres of Kalgoorlie and Albany, there was a 0.4% vacancy rate.
