A poor songwriter falls in love with a wealthy deaf girl, who cannot hear the music she inspires him to write. The obstacles they face seem insurmountable, including a controlling mother, but when tragedy strikes they must trust in the power of their love, and learn how important it is to “listen to your heart.”
