Kia introduced the New EV9, a fully electric SUV model designed and produced for the modern lifestyle of the new age with a zero emission target, at the global launch meeting.

Featuring a three-row seating arrangement that Kia uses for the first time in an electric model, the New EV9 offers a powerful, sophisticated and technologically advanced electric vehicle experience. The New Kia EV9, which has six and seven seat options, stands out with its approved driving range of up to 563 kilometers according to WLTP.


The striking design of the vehicle; It is based on the 'Union of Opposites' design philosophy, which finds harmony in the opposite qualities of nature, modernity and technology. New EV9 digitally features Kia's iconic tiger nose design on its front, with its strong yet calm stance and smart innovations; It always provides a comfortable, peaceful and comfortable journey for the driver and passengers, both on long roads, in the city and off-road.


Built on Kia's Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the New EV9 raises standards in the E-SUV segment. The long wheelbase and fully electric vehicle architecture provide comfort and ample space for each passenger in each of the three rows of seats. In the six-seat version, the second row seats can optionally be preferred with a swivel seat feature or relaxation feature. Swivel seats can move to face the third row, allowing passengers to travel face-to-face.

The new EV9 also has innovations that make journeys more comfortable and convenient, such as digital side mirrors, electric door handles, cooled seats for the first and second rows and a panoramic screen. The new Kia EV9 completes its driving range of up to 563 kilometers with ultra-fast charging to 249 kilometers in 15 minutes.


The new Kia EV9 offers two options: rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Both versions are equipped with a 99.8 kWh battery with Kia's fourth generation battery technology.

The rear-wheel drive version has an electric motor that provides 149.5 kW of power and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. This version completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 9.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 185 km/h. According to the WLTP norm, it provides a fully electric driving range of 563 km.

The new Kia EV9 has two electric motors for the all-wheel drive (AWD) option, each producing 141 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque. The GT-Line version can reach 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. AWD versions provide 505 km electric driving range in the GT-Line version according to the WLTP norm.

New Kia EV9 has an infrastructure that supports 800 volt ultra-fast charging, so it spends less time charging. 15 minutes of charging offers a driving range of up to 249 km in the rear-wheel drive version and 226 km in the four-wheel drive version.

The length of the New EV9, the widest passenger car Kia has ever produced, is 5,015 mm. The New EV9, which has a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,780 mm and a wheelbase of 3,100 mm in the GT-Line version, offers additional storage areas with a large passenger cabin in addition to the trunk and front trunk. While the rear-wheel drive version has a maximum luggage volume of 90 liters at the front, the four-wheel drive version provides 52 liters of storage space. The rear trunk offers up to 828 liters of storage space with the second row seats upright and up to 333 liters of storage space with the third row seats upright.
