It's inevitable that a criminal will make you the target. And one thing they may try to do is steal your password. Some might be your fault (like clicking a bad link), some might not (like if a company gets their database stolen). Top tips to stay safe are: use a complex long password that's different on every place you have a login, use a password manager to store all these passwords so you don't have to memorize them, and be extremely careful where you're entering your password so you don't accidentally give it to a criminal.
