That is a good question, especially since the health risks caused by the coronavirus are far from over. Of course, there are also economic concerns. What if you go back to work and you are laid off again? That is a possibility especially since medical experts expect a second wave of the virus to hit later this year. For many people, the only lifeline they have is their unemployment benefits which in some cases amounts to more than they were making at their jobs. No one wants to lose those benefits, even temporarily.
