The Mercedes-Benz GLA has now represented the entry-level SUV from the Stuttgart brand for two generations, and with its renewal aims to fix a few wrongs that the first model had in its character. For one it outright addresses the interior quality issues that plagued most if not all GLA models, and then it goes ham on offering more space for people and things than the outgoing GLA would have only dreamed about.

But with a Renault-sourced engine up front and a double-clutch automatic gearbox in the middle, has it changed enough to address the woeful driving experience of the outgoing model?
