I had to post this video of my longest flight ever - a full hour using two 7000mAh Titan Li-Ion batteries in my DIY Evil Twin plane. Total flight distance was 31 miles! I was inspired by these batteries, but also by a couple of my DIY RC heroes: Ed from Experimental Airlines and Wayne from WayneRC. My 5.8 video and 2.4Ghz radio control prevent me going more than a few miles away, so I plan to upgrade these in 2017. See the end of the video for a flight summary. Happy Holidays!

Notes on this flight:
*The plane cruised at ~75 watts of continuous power consumption. This was about 7 amps with 11volts and 8 amps when the batteries were depleted to 9 volts.
*This plane now flies with Sunnysky X2216-7 1400KV motors and 9x4.5 multirotor HQ props. This is apparently an efficient setup for carrying this 5 pound plane.

Notes on Titan Li-Ion batteries:
*When using Li-Ions, make sure to adjust your ESC's to their lowest voltage-cutoff setting with an ESC programmer.
*Make sure your OSD or flight controller does not also have a low-voltage cutoff for RTH (return to home).
