The return of sidecars, packed grids across the board, lots of spectators, some of the best racing we've seen from EMRA and ACU Lightweights return meant this was a brilliant meeting. One that perhaps began to suffer from its own success towards the end as such close racing brought the inevitable tumbles, causing red flags which pushed the event for time by the end. A bizarre incident in Open 500 Qualifying and Mac Parsons 'Superman' jump from a nasty high-side being the worst it really got all day, but all riders reportedly on the mend and will probably be back in time. A great event overall, and we even dodged the weather!
