Booster shots have the green light. On Thursday, a CDC advisory panel voted unanimously--recommending a booster dose of the Pfizer- BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for people aged 65 and up.

Thursday, officials announced 2,040 positive cases and 24 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 992,586 cases in the state and 27,348  confirmed and probable deaths.
