This is my first expedition under the renovation house. In this video, I tried to level the sagging floor caused by a large about of weight sitting unsupported by a pier. I added shims under the middle beam of the house, but it still needs more work.

Leveling a pier and beam house is not a small task. I'm using pressure treated wooden fence planks as shims and taking a few tools under the house with me. Normally you would have a few feet clearance to do this kind of work. In my case, it's quite a tight squeeze. There are areas where there is less than a foot of clearance. While I didn't level the entire floor, I did learn what will be in store for me later on when I go back to tackle the rest of the house.
