My opinion of the Ecoboost and V6 isn't just based on which is faster from the factory. I looked at how the car will be for me in the long run. Its definitely a personal preference thing. I personally think a V6 fits the mustang better. Plus i was hearing of reliability issues happening with Ecoboost engines that were pared with minor power mods. I respect the Ecoboost i just think the V6 might be better for some people like myself. Plus way too many people underestimate the V6 without looking at its potential. ( mostly because of media coverage.) I just see the V6 with a lot more potential for big power before having to reinforce internal engine parts. I just have this impression/plans from seeing s197's do it. Both engines are great though.
