Lazy eye - A term heard quite often but understood without much clarity. the medical term for Lazy eye is Amblyopia. Lazy eye essentially means an eye that lacks full visual potential. Though this condition entails certain implications on the eye, the primary issue lies in the processing of images by the brain; the brain tries to block the signals it is receives from the weaker eye so as to gain information from the sharper images it receives from the better eye. As a consequence, the weaker eye becomes lazy.
