Not quite, but close, and never mind that Hello Dolly was written after Billie Holiday and Marilyn Monroe were long dead, but if you are currently on mushrooms or acid you might believe Jane Horrocks is those two, as well as Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey, and Marlene Dietrich. The five divas have joined forces here to sing a show tune together. It's not the holy grail of impersonations but it's cute, it's fun, and Jane Horrocks is a bucket full of bubbles and sparkles, so there. I figured some of you might enjoy this enough that you'd want more so I added a bonus track that imagines what might have happened if Judy Garland and Dean Martin had recorded in the studio together. For those who don't know, Jane Horrocks is best known for playing Little Voice in the West End production of The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice, as well as the film based on the show, Little Voice, and she is beloved worldwide for the characters she created for TV's Absolutely Fabulous, Katy Grin and the legendary Bubble, among others.
