When it comes to building a legacy, Need For Speed is in the running for the most influential racing series of all time. This legacy comes at a cost, as straying too far from its storied history is sure to divide fans, yet sticking too close leaves the series devoid of creativity and stuck iterating on itself ad nauseum.
