UPDATE: This is how the railroad reported this accident to the Federal Railroad Administration – NS TRAIN 329A208 ENTERED A WASHED OUT SECTION OF TRACK AT MP 83.6 AND DERAILED THE LOCOMOTIVE AND APPROX. 10 RAIL CARS. APPROXIMATELY 100 GALLONS OF DIESEL FUEL SPILLED FROM UP 6052 AND OIL.
Cause: T001 Roadbed settled or soft
