While other companies talk about Direct Lithium Extraction in the power point presentations, Standard Lithium has built an operating, industrial scale demonstration plant. This first-of-its-kind anywhere- Direct Lithium Extraction plant is installed at the LANXESS south bromine facility near the town on El Dorado, Arkansas. The plant was commissioned in May 2020 and is operating in a continuous 24/7 fashion. The fully automated (700 monitoring stations providing data every 1/2 second) industrial scale demonstration plant is being used to provide design and engineering criteria for a larger commercial direct lithium extraction facility.
