In this episode I strike out on a solo adventure into the Utah and Nevada desert but not without some challenges right out of the gate. While doing my best to fight off a cold, I return to one of my favorite spots in hopes of some relaxing waters only to be rejected and left hunting for camp in the dark.
Thankfully things start to turn around as I switch to some boot-based travel and dig into a mysterious volcanic mound, rising from the desert floor. You never know what you might find out here and this first chapter of solo adventure did not disappoint! And speaking of no disappointment... Silver did a spectacular job towing the Voyager trailer and doing everything I asked to her to with typical reliability and stubborn performance. What a marvelous machine she's been!
