In the world of the compact SUV, there are many options to choose from. Is the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox LT the right option?

WIth two engine options, the 1.5 and 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder, gas mileage is a plus. Horsepower between the two ranges between 170 and 252 depending on which option is chosen. Additionally, front wheel drive is standard but all wheel drive is an option on the LS trim level and above.

Cargo space is competitive and the ride quality is good. Additionally, a big advantage of an SUV the size of the Equinox is maneuverability. Getting around in tight spaces is much easier than it would be with a mid size or full size SUV.

What about price? The highest trim level, Premiere, starts at $33,000 for the all-wheel drive version while the L trim level, only available with front wheel drive, starts at a price of $23,800.
