Gibson is proud to be back in the guitar amplifier business! Introducing the Falcon 5 and Falcon 20, inspired by vintage Gibson amps and reimagined for today’s players. These new amps, handcrafted in Petaluma, California, focus on great sound, simplicity, and ease of use. The new Falcon models pay homage to Gibson’s legendary past as one of the very first manufacturers of electric guitar amplification back in the 1930s but offer the versatility demanded on modern stages, in home studios, and beyond.

The Gibson Falcon amplifiers are available now in North America via authorized Gibson dealers and on Gibson.com, with global availability beginning in April 2024.

Watch as Grace Bowers plays through some of the features and tones on the new Gibson Falcon 5 tube amplifier using a selection of Epiphone and Gibson guitars. Listen to the sounds of the Gibson Falcon 5 as Grace demos clean tones, overdriven tones and the fuzz-laden sounds of the cranked 1x 6V6 Power Tube and 3x 12AX7 Preamp Tubes.

The small but raucous Gibson Falcon 5 1x10 tube combo amp delivers around seven watts of single-ended, pure Class A power from a single 6V6 power tube, switchable down to around three watts. Alongside volume and tone controls with a wider, more usable range, there’s a level control for the Falcon 5’s lush onboard all-tube spring reverb, while a 10-inch Jensen Blackbird Alnico speaker helps deliver the Falcon 5’s touch-sensitive, harmonically rich tube tones. The Gibson Falcon 5 is an ideal amp for intimate gigs, home practice, and recording purposes. With its modern refinements, high-end performance, and boutique construction, the Falcon 5 is a vintage amp dream delivered with a sturdy, consistent modern design ethos.
