Today, we will explore Mann Lake's three types of wooden frames and plastic foundations. Let's begin with the first option known as the economy frame. While it's slightly thinner and made of plastic, it provides an excellent cost-saving alternative for beekeepers looking to economize on their foundation expenses. This frame performs exceptionally well during honey extraction.

Mann Lake also offers premium-grade foundations in both black and yellow, referred to as Rite-Cell®. This foundation features a deeper cell structure, facilitating quicker comb construction compared to the economy frame.

Lastly, we present the same "Rite-Cell®" foundation, but with an almost tripled amount of wax coating compared to the other two options. This added wax coating proves highly enticing to bees, promoting robust comb development.

Both the Rite-Cell® and economy frames offer durability. The Rite-Cell® and the Max Rite Cell foundation, in particular, boasts a longer lifespan, while the economy frame may have a slightly shorter one. The choice between the three options depends on your budget and specific hive requirements.
