Potatoes are great in an air fryer, and today we are sharing our BEST air fryer potato recipe! We use red potatoes dusted in seasoning, brushed with melted butter, and loaded with cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and bacon. Recipe
4 Large red potatoes washed & dry
2 tbsp oil
salty spice of choice
2 jalapenos sliced thin into rounds
3 tbsp melted butter
1 cup shredded cheese
3 slices bacon

Preheat air fryer to 370F. (let run 5 minutes)
Rub potatoes with oil, and shake on some salty spice.
Place in airfryer and cook for about 20 minutes or until they have some give.
Remove from airfryer and let cool for about 5-10 minutes.
turn the airfryer back on and meanwhile fork split the potatoes (don't know what fork split is? watch the video ;)
Put the potatoes back in the airfryer, shake on some salty spice and brush tops with butter. throw the raw bacon on top and airfry fro about 5-10 minutes flipping thae bacon every 3-5 minutes or until it done. remove the bacon and and continue airfrying potatoes until browned (5 minutes, you can turn up the heat if you want to quicken the process.
Chop up bacon.
When the potatoes are golden top with cheese and jalapenos.
Airfry 5 minutes, top with the bacon, air fry another 2 minutes or so to reheat the bacon.
Serve with scallions and sour cream if desired.
