The new C-Class is available with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine in two different tunes. Both the engines come paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The C-Class petrol is claimed to have a fuel efficiency of 16.9kmpl.

The diesel C-Class that we drove – the C 300d – comes with an output of 265PS and 550Nm of peak torque, and it is claimed to deliver 20.37kmpl. In this review, we not only share with you the fuel efficiency of the C 300d in real-life scenario, but also reveal its actual 0-100kmph time.
