In today's video I show you how to install or replace a livewell aerator pump in your boat! The Aerator pump is a critical component of your livewell and fish care system, pumping in fresh water or recirculating livewell water to increase oxygen and cool the water temperatures. Lack of oxygenation and shocking fish due to climbing water temperatures in the livewell are what kill your fish.

Not installing or replacing your livewell aerator pump can result in faulty operation, dying fish and water leaking in to your boat. I'll run you through exactly what you need for the installation and each step I take to remove the old one and replace it with a brand new, more powerful pump - an Attwood Tsunami T800 to replace the old T500 model.
