A Department of Information Science student, Durga Srikari Maguluri, with support from the College of Information, celebrates Cybersecurity Awareness Month with discussion on weekly topics surrounding cybersecurity for the month of October 2023.

Week of October 27th is “UNT Cybersecurity” with host Durga Srikari Maguluri and panelist Richard Anderson, UNT System Chief Information Security Officer. Dr. Richard Anderson is the Chief Information Security Officer for the University of North Texas System which includes the University of North Texas, the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and the University of North Texas at Dallas. Dr. Anderson holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from UNT with teaching and research focuses on cybersecurity, computational media analysis, information theory, and human behavior. Dr. Anderson has more than 20 years of cybersecurity experience.
