The United States will withdraw its more than 1,000 troops from Niger in the coming months, AFP reported citing U.S. officials speaking on condition of anonymity. The officials said an agreement had been reached in Washington between US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell and Niger's Prime Minister, Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine.
