PCOM South Georgia osteopathic medicine and biomedical sciences students recognized the selfless contributions made by 12 people who donated their bodies to science during a body donor memorial ceremony service on May 19, 2023.

PCOM South Georgia medical and graduate students learn about the intricacies of the human body thanks to the generosity of anatomical donors. Persons who donate their remains to support medical education programs make a tremendous contribution to scientific understanding and help train the next generation of healthcare providers.

Any Georgia resident 18 years of age or older may donate his or her body to our body donor program. The College also honors next of kin body donations. Find out more at pcom.edu/bodydonor
