Guide to Forgiveness: A Spiritual Perspective- The Finale (Session 5)

 Published On Feb 5, 2024

Forgiveness is the ultimate freedom, not for them - for You!

This guide takes forgiveness to a deeper, spiritual level for the purpose of achieving the freedom of forgiveness. It is structured like a series of therapy sessions. Psychologist Dr Traci Moreno takes you through this step-by-step, five-part series with thought-provoking exercises to apply the concepts to your own life. At the end of each session, she will lead you into therapy homework that you’ll complete on your own and lead yourself to your own healing.

If you’re ready to surrender control and take back your life, then come with me on this journey to forgiveness and freedom. Once you complete this course there’s no going back. No going back to anger, sadness, or resentment. All you need to start with is an open mind and an open heart.

Session 1: Revelation & Validation
Discuss and overcome your barriers to forgiveness. Discover why the act of forgiveness is for you and only you. Learn how validation can help you release the pain. You'll be asked to participate in a therapeutic process to validate what happened to you. At the end of this session, Dr. Traci will lead you into "Therapy Homework", so you'll want to leave some extra time at the end of the session for you to start your own journey of forgiveness.

Session 2: The Blame Game
Who do you blame for your pain? Forgiveness is a process, so before you can forgive them you must confront what they've done to you and how they've hurt you. You'll be asked to participate in a therapeutic process that will guide you through a way to do this internally and without the need to involve the other person because, remember: forgivess is about you, not them. If you go right to the step of forgivess without processing the pain you will just end up shoving all that pain deep within you. It is only a matter of time before that pain finds its way to the surface. For true forgiveness to occur it needs to be the final step. At the end of this session Dr. Traci will lead you into "Therapy Homework", so you'll want to leave some extra time at the end of the session to continue your own journey of forgiveness.

Session 3: A Spiritual Perspective
In this session Dr. Traci will challenge your spiritual beliefs as you dive deeper into the spiritual perspective of forgiveness. Through a guided exercise you'll decide whether or not forgiveness is even needed. At the end of this session you'll be led into "Therapy Homework", so you'll want to leave some extra time at the end of the session to continue your own journey of forgiveness.

Session 4: Forgiveness & Freedom
This is often the most challenging part of the process, but it's the one that will get you to the finish line of forgiveness and freedom. At the end of this session you'll be led into "Therapy Homework", so you'll want to leave some extra time at the end of the session to continue your own journey of forgiveness.

Session 5: The Finale
Congratulations on making it through your journey thus far! Now, it's time to let it all go and take back your power. Dr. Traci will guide you through the spiritual process towards freedom.
