The Little Mermaid 2023: Ariel and Eric have a daughter - Melody as live action! What happens after the new The Little Mermaid ending š§šæāāļøāØš
Hi everyone^___^ Have you watched the new The Little Mermaid 2023 movie yet? It's so good^^ and I immediately wanted to see how Melody would look in live action, a mix of Ariel and Eric's features and the old little mermaid 2 cartoon design :)
It has been so so long since I edited Disney live action movies, so it was nice getting back to it. Like many people, my genuine little mermaid trailer reaction was scepticism, but I gave the Little mermaid movie a chance in cinema and ended up LOVING Halle Bailey as Ariel! Her voice is divine , especially in Part of Your World and the chance in her looks actually makes sense, as it is very obvious Atlantica is based in the Caribbean Sea in the Under the Sea song. I would have loved Sebastian to look a bit more like himself, but at least his voice actor daveed diggs did an awesome job! :)
Oops this has turned into a bit of a movie review lol. Anyways, I tell more about my opinion in the video.
I will always prefer traditional animation, but it was lots of fun to see more sides of Ariel and Prince Eric and I hope I did their daugther Melody justice in this speedpaint^___^
Please let me know what you think in the comments! Both about the movie, the edit and which scene was your favourite? I quite liked Kiss the Girl and the whole time Ariel spent in Ursula's cave :)
I edited Melody as a mermaid in this The Little mermaid scene, because I imagine this takes place after the ending of Return to the sea, when Triton helps Ariel and Melody change into mermaids^___^ I used posters and the little mermaid trailer to use as bases for Ariel and Eric.
I really hope the Walt disney company creates either a sequel with their version of Melody to the The Little mermaid 2023 movie or even better - a prequel about Ursula and Triton's past, because I need to know more about those two!
Anyway, I will take any The Little Mermaid film they give us :D
