This course will look into the framework of Emotional Intelligence as it relates to the Prophetic model and the principles of Islamic tarbiyah as a whole. The 5 qualities discussed will be: self-awareness, self-regulations, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Students will learn how these qualities are perfectly aligned with core Islamic principles using sacred texts and examples from the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) life, in sha Allah.
