During Monday night's game between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers, running back Nick Chubb suffered an injury to his left knee and had to be taken off the field.After gaining 5 yards and getting close to the goal line for the Steelers in the second quarter, Chubb sustained the injury. He was eliminated from consideration almost instantly. Chubb suffered an injury to the same knee in 2015, ripping his MCL, PCL, and LCL. At the time, Chubb already had 64 yards on 10 carries.

The All-Pro rushing back made a motion toward the sideline as soon as it was possible. As he was being lifted onto the cart, players from both teams came over to offer their support.



Chubb is expected to be out for the remainder of the season, according to Kevin Stefanski, the head coach of the Browns, who spoke with media after the game.

Chubb is adored in the Browns locker room and actually throughout the league, as was proven by the reaction that many had on social media to his injury. Despite the fact that he is soft-spoken, Chubb commands a lot of respect. It is reasonable to assume that Cleveland will need to bounce back from two losses on Monday night in order to continue their season. Moving forward without Chubb will be a tremendous challenge for the Browns to overcome.
