In this episode we re-visit Sam Hard of Hard Up Garage. Sam has been very busy building a monster custom car. He's married up the shell of a Fast and Furious LIVE (arena) show 1970 Dodge Charger, a car that was similar to a clown car in a circus in that it did stunts on command and pootled around at 12 mph, with the engine and chassis of a 2012 Carl Edwards Nascar.
Sam has called his creation the "NASCharger" but this was the 2nd 1970 Fast and Furious car Sam has owned. In this installment we see Sam working on the 1st one and we examine his friendship with Nick Williams.
Nick is a GREAT friend to Sam. Nick's stunning photography has helped Sam build up the Hard Up Garage brand and given the entire enterprise a wow factor.
The Torque American team has spent a lot of time in 2019 filming Sam marrying up the 2012 Nascar with the Fast and Furious 'clown car' Charger - making his "NASCharger' dream a reality. Our team will be making a series of YouTube episodes about this amazing build on Sam Hard's YouTube channel - ' Hard Up Garage' (see link below).
The plan is we film more episodes of Sam testing his car as part of the 'Rat-ical drive off' competition, which will see him put the NASCharger through it's paces on a 1200 mile journey from Lincoln, Nebraska to the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The NASCharger will then be displayed for the cream of the car world to judge.
