There are so many trails in Southern California. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park has several legal, and illegal trails. Sometimes it is difficult to know which trails are legal. Usually, if there is a sign post with the trail's name, you are cleared to go.
Laguna Ridge, also known as TnA, is one of those trails. I would categorize this trail as a black diamond or difficult trail. There are a lot of different sections to this trail. The top section has some fun, wide open, switch back sections. The middle part of the trail starts to tighten up with some rock gardens. The bottom third of the trail is where most of the harder sections are. The large rock section has many different line choices. You can roll the section I go through, hit the steep rock roll in the center, or send it off the left side. After that, you are into the trees, and the chunk. There are three or four tight and rocky sections to roll through. After that, its a quick send off a rock and straight down the hill to the street.
This trail is so much fun. I usually park at the Willow Staging Area parking lot and ride up Willow. Its quite a climb, but definitely worth it.
