Tour Du Mont Blanc - Day 7. It started very slowly, with a peaceful walk in the woods that lasted for about 12km, no big ascends or descends. After having a refreshing lunch in a rural Swiss village, and meeting a new friend, we continued to Champex, and there was no more trace of a small walk. A lot of ascending in a steep forest hills. Mostly in the shadow, but it was making us extra sweaty when done in the direct sunlight. After 31.000 steps and 20km we reached Champex. It’s a cozy little town by a large lake. Even if it’s most lively during skiing season, but today ther was a little market going on and the town was full of people. It even felt strange to walk among regular tourists.
At our accommodation we had a delicious dinner (finally chicken and rice - guess who was extremely happy about it) and after a good night rest :)
