Why does a Home Storage Battery drain overnight and how do you stop it? After forgetting to set the Givenergy battery to not discharge whilst I used the grid during an Octopus Agile plunge I thought I'd share my thoughts and observations on how to avoid draining your battery.

Luckily the battery dropped to around 15% and charged back to 39% and the next day has been better solar wise than forecast.

Making mistakes is annoying though and it seems like there might be a solution on the horizon......
