This process will be exactly the same for any e92 or e93 3-series, and will be similar for the e90 3-series (325, 328, 330, 335, M3)

It will also be largely the same steps for the e60 5-series (528, 535, 550, M5), the e64 6-series (645, 650, M6), the e65 7-series (730, 735, 740, 745, 750), the e70 X5, and numerous more models.

I chose the gloss black as opposed to matte black simply because I think it looks better and more uniform for all parts to be semi-reflective. To purchase the kidneys I used in this video:
