Step-by-step instructions on installing a diesel heater in your campervan. There are a lot of steps involved (and even more parts) but installing a diesel heater is doable.

Whether you're converting a van yourself, wanting to make some upgrades to your motorhome so you can survive winter or a restoring an old caravan, these video can help you follow the right steps.

For reference, our van is a Mercedes Sprinter that we've self-converted into a campervan. We're in it full-time and don't want to have to chase the sun, and since it's getting COLD we need a way to keep warm through winter.

Our diesel heater is a Planar 2D but the steps are relatively similar regardless of your brand of heater so you can follow along with this video but be sure to read your instruction manual too - the biggest difference is likely to be the angle of your fuel pump and your wiring setup.
