Knighthead, the owners of Birmingham City, have bought a 48-acre site in Bordesley Park as they launch plans to build a new "world-class" stadium and training facilities for all of their teams.

The club says the new 'Sports Quarter' will create 3,000 local jobs, with the area also housing "extensive commercial and community facilities".

Tom Wagner (left), Birmingham's chairman and Knighthead's co-chief executive, and Garry Cook (right), the Birmingham chief executive, are leading the plans.
