Rappers all over the world buy their beats from the Dutch producer Tantu Beats.

When Teun de Kruif, aka Tantu Beats, suffered a serious knee injury while skateboarding at the age of 14, he first came into contact with making music. In 2009 he uploaded his first beat to the internet. Now he sells them all over the world. If he retired now, he could live another 3.5 years off the money he's already made making his beats.

We asked him how he managed to convert his music into rock-hard euros, who bought his beats, and we went with him to a concert by the Higher Brothers, a well-known Chinese rap group that has used his music.
