What is the Idaafa – الإِضَافَةُ ?
It is often referred to as the " The genitive Phrase", or Murakkab Idhaafi مُرَكَّب إضَافِيّ, or Mdhaf wa Mudhafun ilahi
مُضَافٌ وَمُضَافٌ إِلَيْهِ (Possessed and the possessor)

It shows relationship between two ISM (words), the kind of Arabic grammar construct that gives the meaning of the word "of" in English. There is no word in the Arabic language of the word "of".
