One of the main questions I have constantly received is where to buy the thermacell pads because they are still expensive but can be purchased cheaper from foreign sources. However, it takes a long time to receive them.

* I got around this problem by finding an easy way to regenerate the pads simply by using the related repellent, known as permethrin, which is in the same family as allethrin used on the genuine pads.•

Permethrin can be purchased cheaply in 16 ounce bottles containing 42% concentrate. In this more recent video, I show you how to regenerate old pads and keep reusing them:
