Kirsten is co-founder of Dutch community agency Bind. Since 2008 Kirsten has advised numerous organizations (profit, non-profit, governmental) on the development of on- and offline communities for their employees, customers, stakeholders or association members. Kirsten teaches various community management courses monthly. Together with Peter Staal she wrote the book ‘Organising Communities’(2019)

Peter Staal
Bind
Peter Staal founded Bind in 2017 together with Kirsten Wagenaar. Together they wrote a book ('Organising Communities') detailing both theory and practice of building communities. Their book serves a in depth guide for people that want to build a community, and provides inspiration for managers that would like to know what communities are.
