Open fire Barbeque is really popular on the streets of Kashmir and unlike Tikka in other parts of the Indian subcontinent, here it is known as TUJJ. These Barbeque stalls are extremely popular around Dal lake and old Srinagar. I visited this amazing joint called Mama Barbeque for their delicious Fish and Mutton tujj, they were out of this world, unlike any tikka I have had on the streets of India. After a filling barbeque session, we went for a Shikara ride up till CHAR CHINAR in Dal Lake, known for the most beautiful sunset of Srinagar and also the tastiest Kahwa. It was a mind-boggling experience!
