Still learning how to ride and practising the basics after my recent and brilliant 1:1 coaching session, I have so much yet to learn.

I am practising the building blocks of MTB skills and learning how to edit and create videos for my family and friends to enjoy and for anyone who has a similar interest in this wonderful thing that is MTB.

On my 1st visit to BPW and my 2nd trail of the day, I took the last berm too wide, and my handlebars hit the post. From the damage to the post, I was not the first, and I feel I will not be the last.

Amber, the paramedic at BPW was amazing and thought I may have a chipped bone in my shoulder, advising me to visit A&E. I visited A&E that day and the following day, to be released at lunchtime with ½ a day left to enjoy BPW.

Nervous and bruised, I knew I had to get back on the bike and try again, and I am so happy that I did.
