Metal detecting at the old cellar hole in the woods he found a coin from the 1800s he had never found before. A nice 1865 2 cent piece ! we had spent the day detecting and digging this old abandoned and deserted new England farm. Relic hunting is what it is al about around the rock walls, foundations and overgrown fields. You have to read the landscape history to see where the house , barn and other structures were to find the old stuff buried in the ground. Sometimes it's surprising like a bonus coin spill.
