Emergency: What to Do When Your Child Is Sick 😞 The time is now: reasons to seek medical help


Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well! Unfortunately, I'm not in the best of situations right now, as my little one is feeling under the weather. I'm faced with a tough decision: should I take him to the ER or urgent care? I'm completely at a loss, and any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

My son is running a bit of a temperature, but he's also pretty lethargic. He hasn't been himself lately, and it seems like he might have some kind of mystery sickness. We went to urgent care initially, but they weren't able to see him for quite some time. Now, he has a fever and is looking quite pale.

My worry is that if his fever spikes or his condition worsens while we're waiting, we might not be able to get in to see anyone at all. So, my question is: what should I do? Should I take him to the ER or go back to urgent care? Any suggestions or advice would be incredibly helpful. Thanks so much in advance!
