I finally purchased a Skydio 2. I have been flying the Mavic Air 2 for about a year. I use drones in a lot of my videos. Being able to track myself autonomously is very important to me. The Mavic Air 2 has been fairly reliable. But, it is not always able to keep up on a lot of the mtb trails I ride.
The Skydio 2 is supposed to be the ultimate tracking drone. The drone uses both your phone and the Skydio Beacon to keep a stronger signal to the subject. I will be doing a bunch of tracking videos in the future.
This video is a quick set-up and pairing guide to get your Skydio in the air and tracking you. I pair the phone, Beacon, and Controller to the drone. It is a very quick and easy process.
